Community Involvement & Support

Creating a real community involves more than building concrete structures. Mayco Mix believes in contributing to communities at all levels and we are very proud to have helped many important and deserving organizations. Mayco Mix and it's employees have contributed funds, time, products and to the support of many humanitarian, sports and community organizations.

Charitable Contributions

There are a number of employees at Mayco Mix, who contribute to charities of their choice every year. We ask our employees to contribute to those charities through the United Way of Canada, and then the company matches the donation dollar for dollar. Giving to charity is a very personal choice and at Mayco, we are fortunate that so many of our people decide to contribute.

Our 2004 United Way campaign ran during the month of October, with a final donation figure of $27,751, which was then matched by the company. The participation rate this year was 33% of all employees. It is this generosity and company commitment which has helped to support many people in our communities and has gone a long way in making a difference.
