Mayco's Fibrecon™ product incorporates fibres that disperse evenly throughout the mix and impart durability to concrete. In almost every application, concrete requires reinforcement to ensure flexibility without cracking. For suspended-slab concrete flooring or driveway reinforcement, Fibrecon™'s fibres spread evenly throughout the mix.

Welded wire fabric is often used as an alternative to Fibrecon™, but has drawbacks. If properly installed, wire mesh does provide some crack control, but won't reduce permeability. And, since it must be installed, it costs much more than Fibrecon™.
